Shepherd's Heart began a campaign last month to provide sanitary supplies to needy girls at a local school in Kenya. They told us that so many programs around the country focus on the plight of girls and very few take notice of the hardships of boys.  The young men at this school are increasingly coming to class without proper clothing.  Their uniforms are tattered, no proper undergarments, and missing or torn footwear.  The effect of not being clothed properly isn't just embarrassment, there is an element of shame involved that causes the students to underperform in their studies.  

We would like to begin a similar program for the boys as we have already started for the girls.
