(UNICEF) Not included in this figure are millions of children who live on the streets. Children growing up without the consistent care and support of a safe family are the most vulnerable people on the planet! More than 80% of children classified as orphans have one living parent. Many others have living relatives other than a parent. Many families have a desire to care for their orphaned children but simply lack resources and support. We integrate orphaned children into safe families and support families at risk of separation.
